Teachers will be involved in learning how to help students develop into thoughtful, curious,lifelong learners while building the foundational knowledge they will need to meet standards and conquer the high stakes tests. Teachers will look closely at the Language Arts Florida Standards to develop engaging lessons that will incorporate the research based strategies found in Teaching for Engagement, Inquiry and Understanding presented by Harvey Daniels, Chris Lehman and Nancy Steinke.
