This course introduces new teachers to the New Educator Program (NEP) they can participate in for the school year. New teachers are introduced to The Danielson Framework with a focus on Classroom Management (Domain 2 of the Framework) during the summer launch. NEP is launched in the summer and sets the course timeline for the school year. It includes an overview of the NEP modules, 2 full days of academic coursework in ELA, Math, Science, SIOP and other miscellaneous core subject areas. Teachers will learn how to use some of the technology offered in the District: MyPGS, OneDrive, Outlook. Moodle
