This course supports the new SAT assessment that is similar to the College Board AP Language exam as well as the State FSA for ELA students. The course will provide participants support and knowledge on how College Board has partnered with Kahn Academy and is offering several informative videos on the subject. This course will cover writing traits every student needs to know as well as a technology tutorials on how to set up TurnItin.com, Edmodo, Accessing Khan Academy, and the FSA portal. Participants will also recognize that Integrating these technology researched based pieces into an instructional practice will raise student achievement classroom as supported by data. Participants will leave knowing that integrating resources into their instructional plans will provide opportunities for students to become more familiar with writing and the online assessment process.
